This is the sort of stuff I like to see.

Let me say this again. Learn it, repeat it: Not-For-Profit is not a Mandate from God. It's a Tax Status. It is a Business. It Can Be Mismanaged. I'm always interested in the treatment the Media (and people who should know better) give to for profit companies that have problems vs the not for profit comanies with similar issues. For profits get skewered, as they're run by greedy capitalists. Not-for-profits get a pass because their problems are due to funding cuts by Republicans.

The AG's statement is a step in the right direction, but I'd actually like to see more oversight than even that, given the nature of the revenue (taxes, donations). And not just for private not-for-profits, either. There's some serious financial mismanagement going on in the public sector and yet the taxpayers always seem to fall for that tired old "budget cuts" line.
