The girl's nothing if not regular.
Stopped by Ali's to get a cup of something warm to drink and was greeted by one of the substitute guys:
"Every day at the same time - you must like your job, right?"
"Well...I don't think I'd show up if they didn't pay me. Aside from that, I guess it's okay."
He laughed.
Got to the register with my small decaf, my cereal bar, my piece of cheese and my banana. While looking at my purchases on the counter, it occurred to me that I'd been getting the same breakfast for nearly five years. I mentioned this to him along with the fact that I must be an awfully boring person. He shrugged, said that routine's not a bad thing, then wished me a happy Tuesday.

Oh, change it up a little and surprise him.
They have these awful breakfast sandwiches that I can't ever see buying, much less eating.
The girls at Starbucks keep trying to figure out what my "drink" is... and constantly complain at me for switching it up just as they think they've got it figured out.
I don't have the heart to tell them that they never had it figured out in the first place, because I don't know what it is.
I just eat the stuff I do from the quickie place because it's the only relatively healthy stuff there. I go more for the conversation than for anything really wonderful that they sell.
As for Starbucks, I'm easy: small coffee or small decaf. Very rarely will I get anything else because often it's too sweet and just too much for me.
