It seems to me that Orange is becoming the new Red, White, and Blue.

Just as we assume that the colors are meaningful, not simply expressions of taste, we don't mistake them for the colors of Texas or of nearby Southern Methodist University, much less of Britain or France, or the Confederate States of America.
