Burning bush is lovely, lovely but it is an invasive to NE. Bums me out since I love its color this time of year. Oh well, my mom has two in front of her house! My yard is native - full of sky-high weeds! Dingo loves it but next year we're going to have to tame it! Wahoo indeed!
All the cool stuff's invasive to NE, save for the swordfish cousin. Wish we had those off the coast up here. Saw them while at the Outer Banks years ago - they were breaching like dolphins. Really fascinating. Apparently they're good eatin', too.
