We were all pretty surprised to hear that my mother got a kitten. First, because I'm not sure that they allow them in her condominium complex, second because my grandfather has always taken a hardline against pets. Little girl won out, though and she's done a good job of turning things upside down chez Zee. The adoption place called her Peaches, but out of deference to my grandma who'd have loved a little animal of her own, Mom and Grandpa are referring to her as Peachosim.
