I'll have to send you a couple this year. I was recently made aware of several books of poetry that my Grandmother's Great Grandfather had authored and had published (some self published, at least one by a publishing house) with poetry after the Civil War. He served in a Massachusetts artillery regiment and after the war, became a Methodist Minister. All his poetry is about the war... different battles and men he served with.
Given that this year marks the 150th Anniversary of the start of the Civil War, it might be appropriate.
