Hey sweetie! Your blog is tame compared to your Facebook page. I hope you are feeling better. I get enraged when Sean or his siblings have to listen to their mother's verbal vomit and the f word flies. Sean gets upset but he doesn't verbalize it. Mmmmmm... NEPDA helps him! You were a loving daughter to reach out to your mother. Unfortunately she is unable to appreciate you. She is in agony because she doesn't have any coping skills, other than abuse and rage towards her children and the world. And so on....... Take care - be extra kind to yourself. You are loved by us all - even that sick, cranky black cat!!! I hope this helps. I feel quite inadequate.
I was pretty upset last night; you did notice that all the cuss words were sanitized, though. (That's one knows I haven't completely lost it.)
Thanks for helping bring me down with the music/etc. Have to remember that all that stuff's far enough from me that it really shouldn't bother me; that if it does, it's because I'm letting it.
One of these days I'm going to have to tag along with you all to a meeting.
(Again, thank you. Helps to hear that I'm not alone, though I hate to think of my friends having to go through the same stuff.)
I think your mama takes it to a whole new level... Whew! Glad you are feeling better.
Of course its gonna bother you - you wouldn't feel good if a stranger treated you that way, let alone family!
Next NEPDA meeting is on the 24th and features the man himself Dr. Gunderson. He's fabulous.... Sean is attending as there is a board meeting afterward. I'll see if I can get a babysitter then I could pick you up. There is a shuttle bus from McLean - Sean is sending me a link.....
