When I had a tiny studio apartment I used to buy pink, white, yellow tulips from a vendor on the street. The apartment was so tiny I needed something to brighten things up. Loved it.
I need to start doing that again. It is nice for the mood.
It is, actually. I have a ton of vases, and will take flowers out of my garden in the summer/fall, but rarely go and buy myself flowers. Maybe I should start doing that, as it seems to have a salutatory effect on my mood (snort).
How nice to see sunflowers in these dreary months.
