Though I have two cats, I'm really a dog person. I'm working towards the day when I can have one again. My first choice is a beagle or a beagle mix.
My favorite dog ever was Boris, a beagle/brittany mix - he had the same sad expression and a very strong personality, but was very very gentle with kids. He was a redhead with white spots and had a pink nose and grassy green eyes.
